We learned about sport (ice-hockey & gymnastics); space travel (humans & dogs!); art (Kadinsky, Fabergé Eggs and Mayrtoshka dolls); food; flag; weather; clothes; money; cities; dance (folk & ballet) landmarks (St Basil's Cathedral) language (spoken Russian & the Cyrillic alphabet) as well as songs (Kalinka & Antoshka) and story (Baba Yaga)! Well done!!

We researched Russian food online and in our books - we learned about borscht; samovar tea; blini and much more. Dima brought in cyymu treats too that he shared with everyone.
