Ta-dah! Here is the final product for our months work on the topic of Russia! We learned about sport (ice-hockey & gymnastics); space travel (humans & dogs!); art (Kadinsky, Fabergé Eggs and Mayrtoshka dolls); food; flag; weather; clothes; money; cities; dance (folk & ballet) landmarks (St Basil's Cathedral) language (spoken Russian & the Cyrillic alphabet) as well as songs (Kalinka & Antoshka) and story (Baba Yaga)! Well done!!

We learned all about the beautiful St Basil's Cathedral in Moscow and then we made our own collaborative model from recycled materials!
We researched Russian food online and in our books - we learned about borscht; samovar tea; blini and much more. Dima brought in cyymu treats too that he shared with everyone. Thanks Dima, they were tasty!
