Helena challenged us to volunteer for some exercises - lots of children took part including the Birch Class! Wow! What a fantastic European Week of Sport - the whole school worked together running laps and we ran all the way to the Eiffel Tower! We were so cosy today as we got to wear our PJ's to school! We also raised lots of money to go towards board games for classrooms on wet days. Well done everyone. While most of the class were exploring the dress-up and props, our class representative on the School Garden Committee was busy in the garden digging and working hard. Look at the beautiful flowers that came back from the Garden!
Today we painted the peace symbols we made last week as part of Peace Day preparations. We decided to use calm peaceful colours so we used our recent work on tints to add white to bright colours to make them lighter. Finally, we painted our clay pieces using the light colour paint. Well done everyone - working hard on our stretches and chest passes! During today's Drama lesson we explored the class dress-up and prop box. We each selected a prop and then said a line that our character might say! It was lots of fun! Lovely teamwork from the boys today who worked together to find all the big words in our 'People who help us' wordsearch! Maith sibh!
