We had a great day on World Book Day! Well done everyone for dressing up and getting into the spirit of things! Keep on reading!
In P.E. we have been learning about controlled, balanced movements. Check out the work we have been doing - Sorry the photos are blurry but we were moving so fast!! We were so excited to visit the Book Fair today! It will be here all week! We are loving working independently in our literacy activity stations! We just love listening to stories! Thanks to parents for coming in to read to us! Keep up the reading everyone - at home and in school! The Birch Class asked if they could make a rocketship so since we were working on the theme of Transport we decided it would fit perfectly! We worked together to great the structure of our ship and next week we will add the decoration! Great team work and creativity everyone! We are delighted to be celebrating the 22nd World Book Day (7th March) in Powerstown E.T.N.S. with a series of in-school events 4th – 8th March 2019. The main aim is to encourage children to explore the pleasure of books and reading. We kicked things off with some shared reading in our assembly families this morning.
Along with various in class activities, we are holding the following events in school during the week that we would love your support in:
