We've gotten stuck into our project on Russia by looking at lots of different books on Russia! We can't wait to learn more!
Well done everyone for all your hard work this term! Enjoy the break and we will see you all back on the 29th April!
We have been learning about directions and following instructions in P.E. Today we played Farmer in the Den where one person is the farmer and all the 'sheep' are blindfolded. The farmer has to 'clap' the sheep back into the den using instructions:
1 clap: turn left 2 claps: turn right 3 claps: walk straight ahead
It was so tricky but really fun!
Well done everyone on completing our block of swimming lessons!
Today we examined whether the temperature of water would make a difference when we are trying to dissolve solid food materials. So we mixed sugar, salt, flour, seeds, coffee, chocolate powder and oats with cold and hot water and recorded our observations.
We found lots of 2D Shapes around the school, especially when we worked like a team.
We spotted an experiment in the Lime class and we wanted to have a go ourselves! The experiment is actually all about how flowers (and other plants) drink.
